You know, we still have some folks around here who do things the old way. One of my friends is making me a handle for my cant hook(I busted mine). He told me it's not that hard. Just get a 4x4, five foot-long piece of seasoned hickory, grab a drawknife and whittle off everything that doesn't look like a cant hook handle.

It's an old saw that nobody wins a trade war. Obviously the increasingly stable genius believes otherwise. However, does anybody honestly believe that he's negotiating in good faith? The worst thing you can do in any negotiation is to lose people's trust - not the trust of your adversaries, but the trust of people who until very recently were allies.
